Managing Director's Profile
He is born in Yavatmal District i.e. at Talegaon {Bhari}, a small village about 10 kms from Yavatmal in a farmer’s family. He lost his father when he was 9 years old and his education was looked after by his mother, who herself has gone to school for 2 months only.
Dr. Kalamkar is from 1971 batch and passed his MBBS in 1975, and MD in 1980 from GMC. Dr.B.S. Chaubey was his guide. Dr. Kalamkar was a medical teacher for almost 10 years before he started his hospital practice in 1989. During these 10 long years in medical college, he was working in various departments of medicine like Skin & V.D., infectious diseases, ICCU, Kidney unit and internal medicine. He was a postgraduate guide for MD Medicine.
At present he is running this fully equipped Multi-specialty hospital in the heart of city of Nagpur where all the basic facilities to manage the patients belonging to multiple faculties. He has special interest in AIDS and he writes articles in news paper regularly and conducts a clinical meeting once in a month in the hospital as he is interested in academics.
Facilities Available
We have 20 beds which include 4 beds in ICCU. 2 air conditioned rooms, 3 single special rooms with attached bath and other double bedded general wards. There is a fully equipped PBU where we can manage 2 new born.
All the necessary equipment required for treating the illnesses belonging to the specialties mentioned overleaf are available including Computerized Pathology Laboratory, X-Ray etc.
We are regularly treating and operating on HIV Positive patient also.
